This is the most efficient mode, and is a good choice for when you have a lot of plugins open, or are on an underpowered computer. Zero Latency mode matches the magnitude response of analogue EQ'ing as closely as possible, without introducing any latency. Pro Q2 features 3 different processing modes, offering an altered sound and performance: Three Modes, Three levels of Unparalleled Performance Other things include an A/B feature, and plethora of presets in different categories (Drums, Mastering etc), This can be extremely handy when using pitched elements such as percussion. This allows you to create EQ bands on notes, with the correct frequency corresponding to that particular note (A4 = 440Hz). Pro Q2 has the inclusion of a piano roll. You can also view the effects this will have in real time through the spectrum analyser. This allows you to literally grab a section of the spectrum, and drag it to affect the EQ in the chosen range.
A feature unique to Pro Q2 is the spectrum grab. Further repair features include the spectrum analyser, which can show the audio pre and post EQ, with adjustable resolution and range. Mid/Side and L/R capabilities are present, for those pesky sounds stuck in mono or stereo. This allows you to get surgical in your editing. Each EQ band also hold independent filter slopes, up to 96dB per octave. Each band has 6 filter types - Shelf (High/Low), Cut (High/Low), Notch, Bandpass, Bell and Tilt Shelf. Some may call this overkill, but the sound design possibilities this will provide are endless. Pro Q2 allows for up to 24 bands of EQ, each one with independent control, both internally and with MIDI Learn, over every parameter.
